How It Flows

In this section you will learn about the specific processes that make up the way we do our printing work

Pre - Press

A printing industry term for the activities that occur after a commercial printer receives an order and a corresponding graphics file from a client or graphic designer, but before any actual printing takes place.

The First Stage : Pre - Flighting

During Pre- Flight, the file is checked to make sure it contains all the elements necessary for a successful print run .

The Second Stage: Creating a Proof

A proof is a close representation of how the finished piece will appear when it is printed.

The Third Stage : Printing Plates

After the Proof is approved, the project is ready to be produced on a printing press.

Our Process

Gravure Printing

Gravure Printing

After the inspection the process moves to Rotogravure printing which is characterised by excellent print quality and high printing speed. Gravure printing involves a simple printing process, accurate ink use, flexibility of printing machine structure. The method is suitable for multicolour continuous printing of roll materials such as BOPP, PE, PET, and LLDPE/LD

Lamination

Gravure Printing

Gravure Printing

Inspection is followed by lamination.

Two different processes are used to bond the films substrate to give the finished packaging material. One uses a solvent based adhesive and other uses solventless adhesive. And also extrusion lamination.

Solventless Lamination: Keeping in mind the environment protection, health safety and low cost , this technique is widely used around the globe for lamination. Few points that make it more effective are:
a) no solvent residue, no volatile solvent emission, so less atmospheric pollution.
b) higher running speed
c) less adhesive consumption, lower production cost
d) lower energy consumption
e) better investment return
d) reduces the danger of organic solvent transportation.

Slitting

Gravure Printing

Slitting

After lamination we move to slitting  which means cutting larger rolls of materials into narrower rolls. Slitter reduces the width of larger rolls into appropriate width and yardage to fit the process.

Flexo Machine

Flexographic , also known as flexo printing, is a form of rotary printing in which quick drying inks are transferred from Flexible printing plates to a substrate . This is primarily used for large scale printing of texts and images on a variety of materials such as plastic , metallic film, paper and nonwovens.
